SFP in the News: Joshua House Expansion Gets a Boost from Service Credit Union

Last week, Seacoast Online came out to the Joshua House to learn about our game-changing expansion project, which will double the number of families we will be able to serve.

We want to offer a tremendous thanks to our amazing friends at Service Credit Union for their generous donation (check presentation pictured above).

From the story:

Seacoast Family Promise is expanding its overnight shelter, known as the Joshua House, so it can help more families in need.

Pati Frew-Waters, executive director of the Exeter-based nonprofit, said the organization recently collected $130,000 in donations to support the $900,000 expansion of the house at 480 Breakfast Hill Road.

“Expanding the overnight shelter will allow Seacoast Family Promise to serve more families and larger families who cannot always find adequate space for family shelter,” said Frew-Waters.
