COVID-19 Update

As the world around us changes rapidly due to the COVID-19 outbreak, we wanted to update everyone on the measures we are taking to keep our staff, families and volunteers safe.

Importantly, we are taking several steps to implement social distancing recommendations.  We are sheltering all of our families at The Joshua House.  We still have our volunteers dropping off food but are limiting exposure by not requiring families to eat together and allowing volunteers to just drop off food on the door step.  All of our staff and families have been vaccinated.  We are closely monitoring the health of all our families and staff, and have quarantine contingency plans in place, in the event that they are needed.

Thank you to all of our amazing Volunteer Coordinators and volunteers for working with us and being flexible.  This is an anxious time for many, but especially for the families we serve who were already facing uncertain futures.  Throughout these weeks of pandemic and the economic fallout that will inevitably follow, our mission is more needed than ever.
